Jasmina is from Serbia and is currently studying in TCD for a PhD in artificial intelligence. She holds the FIDE title of WCM (Woman Candidate Master) and plays regularly for our top teams in the Leinster league.
On April 3rd. she gave a chess talk to the club on the tricky topic of endings where only one or a few pawns are left on the board - how to defend, how to promote, how to avoid or force a draw.
