Our Annual General Meeting was held on Nov. 20 in the Club room and was well attended.
An important motion that was passed was that former and present Irish Chess Champions be exempted for life from paying club annual subscriptions if they wished to join.
The following were elected to the committee to serve for 2024-25.
President. Rory Broderick, Hon. Secretary. Malachy Hevehan, Hon. Treasurer. Ronan Nolan.
Committee Members. Darren McLean, Joe Durkan, Davide Cesaro and Martin Schmidt.
